In Spanglish, by Ilan Stavans describes her experience with Spanglish. She was to an immigrant from a South American country and knew how to speak Spanish really well. When she came to America she learned Spanglish a mix of English and Spanish. She went to college and met a friend who dropped out of college on the third year since the friend was not able to handle the pressure and the culture shock. Stavans learned the biggest problem for Latinos to complete college is the diversity and the feeling of belonging.
